Administrative Support Volunteers are typically college students who want to learn about healthcare administration in a healthcare environment. Administrative Support Volunteers help with clerical duties in the hospital's various non-clinical offices.
Ancillary Department Support Volunteers are typically college students who are interested in getting exposure to various non-nursing and non-administration careers in healthcare. They are able to observe and assist professionals in fields such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and respiratory care.
Guest Support Volunteers are typically members of the community who are interested in welcoming and assisting patients and families upon their arrival at the hospital.
Nursing Support Volunteers are typically college students who are interested in attending nursing or medical school and wish to get exposure to a clinical setting. Nursing Support Volunteers help the nursing staff of a specific clinical unit with non-clinical tasks such as rounding on patients, running in-house errands, stocking supply closets, etc.
