College Station Medical Center’s Outpatient and Inpatient Therapy Program offers a variety of quality rehabilitation services. Our staff is trained to treat many conditions, including orthopedic problems, neurologic conditions and sports injuries. A staff of 16 licensed therapists provides one-on-one care to patients of all ages.
Therapy can help restore function and relieve the pain associated with joint replacement, injury, stroke and many other conditions that cause impairment. The goal is to maximize functional abilities, restore independence and return patients to normal activity as safely and quickly as possible.
At a patient’s first visit, a licensed therapist will perform an evaluation, assessing pain, ability and function for all affected areas. A therapy plan is then created to fit individual needs. During the recovery process, licensed therapists guide patients through the plan, striving for optimal results during and after rehabilitation.
