Thomas Jackson - Chief Executive Officer
Jackson has been with the hospital since 1997, coming from Houston where he was in healthcare management with Tenet Healthcare and the Methodist Hospital. Tom brings experience in operations and development and in structuring provider services within managed care. Since joining CSMC, Tom has opened a cardiac cath lab, Cancer Center, Chapel, a new medical office building and has overseen major additions and renovations to the hospital. Tom has a master's degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio and two bachelor of science degrees from the University of Arkansas. He is active in civic and church activities and serves on many boards and committees within the Bryan-College Station area. Tom and his wife Susan, a TAMU graduate, have three daughters.
Sherri Welch - Chief Nursing Officer
Welch has worked for College Station Medical Center since 2001. She has an extensive medical background in emergency medicine, urgent care, infusion therapy and occupational medicine. Sherri earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Prairie View A&M Univeristy School of Nursing and her masters in health administration degree from Texas A&M School of Health Sciences in 2006. She is married to husband Jim and has three children.
Larry Rodgers - Assistant Chief Executive Officer
Larry Rodgers has been named Assistant Chief Executive Officer for College Station Medical Center. Rodgers, a Missouri native, joined “The Med” in January and will oversee ancillary and support services, assist with development projects and serve as the medical center’s ethics and compliance officer. Rodgers has more than 10 years experience in healthcare, including marketing and administration. Prior to joining “The Med,” Rodgers served as Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Moberly Regional Medical Center, overseeing operations, construction and business development. He also served as interim Chief Executive Officer of Navarro Regional Hospital, Corsicana, Tx. He and his wife have been married for nearly 18 years and have two children.
Sheila Rinard - Director Patient Care Services
Rinard has over 25 years of nursing experience and is a longtime resident of Bryan/College Station. She is responsible for the hospital's nurse recruitment effort including the Nurse Tech Program and nursing scholarships, as well as inpatient hospital units. Sheila has extensive training in emergency medicine, clinical resource management and community education. She has three children.
Sharon Bond - Director Human Resources
Bond has a long history with College Station Medical Center where she began as a unit secretary for the medical/surgical floor while attending Texas A&M University. Twenty-six years later, she handles employee relations, compensation and benefits for hospital employees. Originally from Canton, she is married to Craig Bond, owner of a local veterinary hospital, and they have two daughters.
Pamela Vance - Director Medical Staff Services
Vance has been with College Station Medical Center since 1999 and is responsible for the credentialing and privileging of physicians and medical staff functions and acts as liaison between administration and the medical staff. Pam is a native of San Antonio and received her bachelor of science degree from Texas A&M University. She is credentialed by the National Association Medical Staff Services as a certified professional of medical staff management and professional credentialing specialist.
Neal Bolton - Assistant Chief Financial Officer
Bolton is a graduate of North Carolina State University with bachelor degrees in accounting and business management. He has been in healthcare since 1990, and previously worked at Health Management Associates, and was CFO at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston, AL. Bolton and his wife, Kay, have two children.
Melissa Purl - Director of Marketing
Purl began healthcare marketing in 1994, and College Station Medical Center is her fourth hospital as a member of the leadership staff. An award-winning former news editor, Melissa comes to College Station from Victoria where she worked for the largest county facility in the state. She has an extensive background in marketing, public relations, crisis management and advertising. She is a former student of Texas A&M University. Melissa has two children.
Bob Felix - Director of Practice Management
Felix has been with College Station Medical Center for two years and his background includes a masters degree from the University of Illinois, Springfield. He is the past president of the Texas Medical Group Management Association and is a fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He has been involved on the national level of the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He was an executive director of a Community Health Organization. Bob and wife Judi, have five daughters.
